Study Claims Alcohol Increases Diabetics Health Risks


A study has emerged which claims people with diabetes are more likely to die by suicide, alcohol consumption related causes or an accident.

According to researchers at the University of Helsinki and University of Tampere, mental health problems linked with diabetes may actually lead to a higher risk of death by suicide in sufferers.

Diabetes has been proven to have an impact on the mental health of people and subsequently depression among diabetes sufferers is common, however now scientists believe these people are more likely to die by alcohol related issues, suicide or an accident.
