The SA government recently launched its liquor licensing discussion, which will look into whether supermarkets should be allowed to sell alcohol.

The acting premier John Rau said its been almost 2 decades since liquor legislation was fully reviewed in SA, therefore some reforms have been overlooked.

Those involved in the state’s liquor industry are encouraged to participate in the discussion and the paper is currently available on the South Australian Attorney-General’s website.

Submissions close at 5pm on Friday 29 January 2016.
