Is it Safe to Indulge if You Don’t Eat Carbs?


Low-carb or no-carb diets are gaining popularity as more people try to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle but what about drinking on a low-carb diet?

There are many alcohols themselves that are high in carbs, some even have more carbs than sweets and soft drinks such as beer which has starch as one of its main ingredients.

Many alcoholic beverages also contain empty calories, with many studies proving that drinking in moderation could be linked to a reduced risk of weight gain.

Ultimately light beer, wine and pure forms of liquor like whiskey, gin and vodka are best for people on a low-carb diet.
