Home Brewing Growing in Popularity

A survey of home brewers in Australia has revealed that home brewing is a trend that’s growing in popularity around the nation but not so much among females.

The survey of 2500 home brewers showed that only 2 per cent of them were female.

The inaugural Australian Home Brewers Survey was undertaken by craft beer retailer Beer Cartel and revealed that Pale Ale is the most brewed style of beer. It is brewed by 86 per cent of home brewers.

For the more experienced home brewers, who have been brewing for 6.9 years, All Grain brewing is the most popular home brewing technique.
