Experts Say You Shouldn’t Put Vodka in the Freezer

We’ve probably all gotten the advice before that vodka should be stored in the freezer but now an expert says we shouldn’t.

According to vodka expert and creator of Grey Goose vodka, Francois Thibault, this is the last thing we should do.

As vodka only freezes at -27C, there’s no chance of that happening in your household freezer, but freezer storage will actually dull the flavour of your vodka.

For Grey Goose vodka, Thibault says the best temperature for storage is 0-4C, which is the temperature of a slight dilution with ice in a mixing glass.
