Comment Sought on Small Bar Laws

Liquor and Gaming NSW have announced a review of small bars in the state, of which there are currently 50 operating in NSW.

Members of the public and the industry are invited to provide feedback on small bar liquor laws.

The small bar licence restricts these bars to a maximum of 60 patrons and offers man an automatic 2am trading option.

They are also not allowed to see take-away alcohol or provide gaming.

The review is seeking feedback on licence requirements as well as other impacts whether positive or negative.
