While Coca-Cola may be the most well known soft-drink brand in the world, the giant is trying it’s hand at the alcoholic beverage industry for the first time.
The famous soft-drink producer is launching Chu-Hi, an alcoholic drink made with shochu in Japan. While the company did own a wine subsidiary briefly in the eighties, this is a first for the drinks company.
The Chu-Hi is considered a low alcohol beverage but it could be just a start for the giant, and if successful, it may branch into other alcoholic beverages.
