Campaign Reminds Young People to Drink Responsibly This Holiday Season

DrinkWise launched its latest campaign, targeting young adults, the group identified by researchers as the heaviest binge drinkers.

According to research, young adults are consuming 5 or more standard drinks on a night out (21 per cent) as compared to 16 per cent of all other age groups.

While researchers found that young people are drinking more responsibly, dropping from 31 per cent over the past 2 years, there is still more to done.

In light of this, DrinkWise has launched the campaign  ‘The Internet Remembers’, a collection of unsophisticated drinking moments from the internet presented by series of augmented reality (AR) displays in bars, via social media and throughout city centres.
