Australia’s best wine award has gone to a $7 bottle of white wine under $20 at the Winestate Wine of the Year Awards in Adelaide.

It’s the second time in 3 years that the wine took the award.

The panel was made up of expert judges including winemakers and wine scientists. These experts decided the Story Bay Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2017 was the best from a field of 2500 wines after 12 months of blind tastings.

If you’re wondering what it tastes like, judges commended its “vibrant tropical fruit aromas including passionfruit, notes of lime and blossom, hints of herbal tea and fresh cut grass, and zesty and refreshing acid backbone that provides structure and length.”

The wine is sold exclusively at Liquorland, First Choice Liquor and Vintage Cellars.
