A teenager was killed after a pub brawl recently, highlighting that the alcohol fuelled violence still plaguing many entertainment districts is out of hand.
As a post on BrisbaneTimes.com.au pointed out, every state in Australia is battling with this issue but Queensland is introducing a 1am lockout and 3am last drinks in its entertainment precincts next year. Venues outside designated precincts must stop serving alcoholic drinks at 2am. These regulations will come into effect in February 2017.
Patrick Cronin was the lastest victim to lose his life to a one punch attack, his family recently decided to take the young footballer off life support.
The teen suffered a critical head injury during a fight outside a bar in Diamond Creek around 11pm on a Saturday night. Find out more at http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/queensland/victoria-living-in-a-bit-of-a-bubble-with-alcohol-fuelled-violence-20160418-go9d9z.html
