Wine remains the most consumed alcohol in Australia, according to The Roy Morgan Alcohol Currency Report.
The report revealed that of all Australians over 18 years of age, 44.5% drink wine and 18.38% drink beer.
On average in a four week period, 69.3% of Australians drink alcohol, with men being the predominant consumers.
Beer is consumed by 50% of men and just 2-% of women.
Although wine is the most popular alcohol choice for drinkers in Australia, the largest volume of alcohol consumed is beer.
