Advice to Surviving the Festive Season

The silly season is fast approaching but that doesn’t mean we’ve got to revert back to our old ways. While we’re probably going to be doing a lot of partying this season, we need to do so responsibly and in moderation, keeping in mind some of the consequences over-indulging in alcohol can have including negatively impacting your liver and kidney functions, resulting in weight gain and altering your behavior.

Here are a few ways to keep your drinking in check, according to a post on TheWeeklyReview.com.au,

  1. Find an alternative to meeting for a drink, why not meet for coffee instead?
  2. Swap out the champagne for sparkling water.
  3. Pick and choose which social events you will drink at and which ones you’ll stick to non-alcoholic drinks.
  4. Don’t be afraid to say no when offered a drink.

It’s also vitally important to ensure you have safe transport home after a night out.  Read more at https://www.theweeklyreview.com.au/live/survival-guide-for-the-festive-season/
