There’s a new study that claims that people who are married actually drink less alcohol than single people.

According to the lead author of the study, Diana Dinescu explained that people in committed relationships actually drink less frequently whereas the quantity of alcohol consumed increased if you end that relationship.

The study investigated over 2,400 twins and found that married subjects drank less than those who were single or divorced.
