Beer is a $661 billion industry and craft beer sales continue to rise. There are however a few big beer brands that continue to dominate the market. According to a report by Bank of America Merill Lynch these are the most popular beer brands in the world, how many have you tried?

  • 10. Coors – selling 26.5 million hectolitres in 2017.
  • 9. Corona – 28.8 million sold in 2017.
  • 8. Yanjing – 29.7 million hectolitres sold in 2017.
  • 7. Harbin – 29.9 million hectolitres sold in 2017.
  • 6. Heineken – 34.3 million hectolitres sold in 2017.
  • 5. Skol – 35.1 million hectolitres sold – almost entirely in Brazil.
  • 4. Bud Light – 44.8 million hectolitres sold in 2017.
  • 3. Tsingtao – 49 million hectolitres sold in 2017.
  • 2. Budweiser – 49.2 million hectolitres sold in 2017.
  • 1. Snow – Sold 101.2 million hectolitres in 2017, more than double of that sold by Budweiser.
