Country Where Women Cant Buy Alcohol


Sri Lanka has reinstated a law banning women from buying alcohol, which it’s president says could contribute to the breakdown of families.

The law which was first instated almost 4 decades ago was revoked by the finance minister but the president has ordered the ban be reinstated.

The ban would prohibit women from buying alcohol or working in bars, breweries or distilleries. Read more
